Salonga Center supports IBP Community Pantry in Dumaguete

The Dr. Jovito R. Salonga Center for Law and Development of Silliman University recently supported the Community Pantry program spearheaded by the Negros Oriental chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

The Community Pantry was set up last May 1, 2021 in front of the Hall of Justice.

In its advocacy to help the community, Salonga Center provided essential goods and items donated by its volunteers. The beneficiaries of this program are groups of garbage pickers in the community that was greatly affected by the pandemic.
