
SHS student joins national football team; competes in Jordan

Julio Antonio Yoldi, a grade 11 student at Silliman University Senior High School (SHS), competed in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-17 Asian Cup 2023 Qualifier in Jordan as part of the Philippine Boys Under-16 National Team.
Yoldi, who takes the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, & Mathematics) track in SHS, joined 22 other young football players to represent the Philippines in the qualifier held October 1-9, 2022 at the Prince Mohammad Stadium.
The national team faced the teams of Japan, Syria, Turkmenistan, and Jordan.
Yoldi is also a member of the Football Kings United – Dumaguete and the Negros Oriental – Siquijor Regional Football Association.
