Silliman Contingent Bags Sandurot Festival Dance Championship

The contingent from Silliman University for the Sandurot Festival Street Dance of Dumaguete City was adjudged champion on September 16. It bagged a total of eight awards.

Composed of college MAPEH majors and students from the Senior High School, the Silliman contingent clinched the championship in two categories: Showdown and Street Dance; and was awarded Best Choreography in both.

They also brought home the Most Discipline, Best Instrumentalists, Best Innovative Music, and Best in Costume awards.

Sandurot is a joyful cultural celebration of Dumaguete’s hospitality and friendliness. This year’s festival ran from September 8 to 17.
