Silliman University secures place in the QS Asia Rankings list for 2026

Silliman University has once again secured its place in the 2026 QS World University Rankings: Asia, placing 694th out of 1,526 higher education institutions across the region.

The University retains its 9th spot nationally among the 35 Philippine universities included in this year’s edition.

The top 10 Philippine institutions in the 2026 rankings are as follows:

QS evaluates institutions based on 11 indicators, including academic and employer reputation, faculty–student ratio, research output, and internationalization. Silliman showed its strongest performance in faculty–student ratio, academic reputation, and employer reputation, while areas such as research productivity, citations, and global mobility programs remain key opportunities for growth.

Silliman’s continued presence in the QS rankings affirms its role as one of the country’s leading private universities and its sustained relevance in the Asian higher education landscape.
