Strat partnerships director elected as president of Marie Curie alumni association

Dr. Jenny Lind Elmaco, director of Silliman University’s Office of Strategic Partnerships, has been elected president of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) Southeast Asia Chapter and appointed as National Contact Point of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) research fellowship program. The European Union embassy in the Philippines announced her appointment last May 15 on their official Facebook page.

The MSCA is a research fellowship program that provides grants for all stages of researchers’ careers and encourages transnational, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary mobility. Elmaco was an Erasmus Mundus scholar and a recipient of the Marie Curie Initial Training Networks Fellowship of the Consortia for Excellence on Sustainable Peace-building, which was funded by the European Commission.
