SU administrators speak at ACSCU regional assembly
Dr. Betty Cernol McCann, Silliman University (SU) president, and Dr. Dave E. Marcial, SU Dr. Mariano C. Lao Global Studies Center director, spoke at the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ACSCU) Mindanao Regional Assembly held at the Mountain View College in Mt. Nebo, Valencia City on March 24-26, 2024.

McCann was the third session speaker and talked about “Promoting Mental Health in the Education Sector: A Comprehensive Approach.”
Dr. McCann discusses the state of education during her lecture.
Marcial gave a lecture entitled, “Innovating with Integrity: Embracing AI in Christian Learning Environments.”
The ACSCU Mindanao Regional Conference is an annual gathering of academic leaders to network, share best practices, and discuss current educational trends.
This year, the conference was hosted by Mountain View College in cooperation with the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC).
