SU CBA students embark on scientific exploration program in Taiwan

Three College of Business Administration students are currently representing Silliman University at the Scientific Exploration Program hosted by Providence University in Taichung City, Taiwan.

The educational summer camp, running from July 27 to August 14, 2024, offers a unique blend of academic and cultural experiences, providing students with an invaluable opportunity to immerse themselves in a diverse learning environment. This enriching experience aims to foster global connections and deepen academic understanding through a variety of academic courses, workshops, and laboratories activities.

Among the participants are Remegio Burburan and Allyssa Marion Corral, both third-year Accountancy students who previously served as representatives in the 33rd and 31st SUSG Student Assembly, respectively. Additionally, Yuan Raquel, a fourth-year Economics student, is also taking part, bringing his own academic focus to the international stage.

This summer camp at Providence University is not only an academic venture but also a cultural journey. By engaging with peers from different backgrounds and exploring Taiwan’s rich heritage, SU students are building lasting international relationships and gaining insights that will benefit their future careers and personal growth.
