SU grade 6 pupil bags silver medal for karate in nat’l sports competition

I’zaq Edris Vicuña receives the silver medal for karate at the Batang Pinoy Karatedo National Torunament.

I’zaq Edris Vicuña, a Grade 6 pupil at Silliman University Elementary School, received the silver medal for karate in the Advanced Kata category for 10-11 years old at the 2023 Batang Pinoy Karatedo National Tournament held at the PhilSports Arena, Pasig on December 18-19, 2023.

Vicuña is a member of Team Dumaguete and trains under Japan Karate Association Nihon Karate Kyokai in Valencia.
