Cleope, SU vice president for Academic Affairs, was reelected as ACSCU Zonal Chair for the Visayas, during the ACSCU conference, May 21 at the Rizal Park Hotel. The ACSCU, established in 1946 with SU as one of its founding members, serves as the center of cooperative and unified effort of Christian schools in the Philippines. Currently, the growing association has 129 member institutions that represent 12 Christian denominations. ACSCU, through its ACSCU-Accrediting Council, Inc., cooperates with educational accrediting agencies recognized by the Commission on Higher Education to evaluate facilities and resources of private higher education institutions.
