SU Social Work alumna receives her check after placing 9th in the September 2025 SWLE

Social work alumna Abigail Faith I. Maraat, who ranked Top 9 in the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Social Workers with a score of 89.20%, received her check from Silliman University (SU) officials in recognition of her achievement on September 30, 2025, at the SU Boardroom.

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) – Social Work Department celebrated a 95.65% overall passing rate, with all first-time takers passing the exam. The Professional Regulation Commission reported a national passing rate of 76.02%.

Present during the turnover were Dr. Betty Cernol McCann, SU president; Dr. Warlito S. Caturay Jr., Office of Media and Public Affairs (OMPA) chief; Dr. Alana Leilani C. Narciso, CAS Dean; and Asst. Prof. Serlyn E. Sanson, Social Work Department chair.
