SU student bags 6 golds, 2 silvers; breaks record in Palarong Pambansa 2023

Naina Dominique Tagle, an incoming Grade 10 student of Silliman University, bagged six gold and 2 silver medals, and broke a record in the 60-meter event of the secondary girls’ archery competitions in the Palarong Pambansa 2023, held August 3, 2023 at the STI Gold Toe Archery Center in Marikina City. 

Manila Bulletin reported that Tagle earned 327 points in the 60-meter event, breaking the Palaro record of 321 points first achieved by Charmaine Villamor from the Cordillera Administrative Region in 2018 and matched by Chrisha Mae Merto in 2019.

Tagle represented Central Visayas in the competition.
