On March 6, 2026, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), through the Silliman University Technical Educational Vocational and Entrepreneurial Center (SU TEVEC), distributed free tool kits to 25 graduates of Animal Production (Swine) NC II at the SUGA Center of the SU Farm.

The distribution was headed by Blanchie M. Utzurrum, head of SU TEVEC, together with Jicyl Ann L. Anguring, Senior TESD Specialist.

The recipients were among the graduates recognized during the 43rd SU TEVEC Graduation Ceremony held on October 20, 2025, at the Audio-Visual Theatre. They are also beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Walang Gutom Program (WPG).

Each TESDA kit contained an ear notcher, forceps, pig nipple drinker, a set of ear tag applicator, and a weighing scale—tools intended to support the graduates in applying their skills in swine production.

Also present during the distribution were representatives from DSWD NIR Innovations Division: Jewel Goldamir C. Macayan, Project Development Officer (PDO) III; Grant Garry T. Cadalin, PDO II; and Rodmar G. Sumog-oy, PDO II.
