SUES Class of 1976 formalizes donation to alma mater

The Silliman University Elementary School (SUES) Class of 1976 marked its Golden Reunion with a meaningful gift to their alma mater, formalized through the signing of a Deed of Donation on August 24, 2026, at the SUES soccer field.

Represented by Marc Proceso F. Udarbe, the batch donated anatomical models valued at ₱140,000 and six sets of concrete tables and benches worth ₱162,000 to support the academic and infrastructural needs of Silliman University, particularly the Elementary School.

The Deed was signed by Udarbe for SUES Class 1976 and Ricardo A. Balbido, Jr., Chairman of the SU Board of Trustees, for Silliman University. Witnessing the signing were Marie Rose G. Inocando-Paras and Jan Cynth L. Palama.

A blessing and dedication ceremony was held at the SUES Soccer Field to formally hand over the donation.

Present at the event were Dr. Elve O. Nasvik, SU School of Basic Education (SBE) director; Asst. Prof. Jan Cynth L. Palama, Elementary School principal; Marie Rose G. Inocando-Paras together with the SUES Class of ‘76; Atty. Val Dominic J. Uy, University Associate Counsel; Glynnis Jean C. Casiño, Strategic Partnership and Enterprise Development officer-in-charge; and faculty and staff of the SU Elementary School.
