The Educational Services Committee and Executive Committee of the Silliman University Student Government (SUSG) opens the SUSG Scholarship Program application for the school year 2024-2025

As part of its commitment to supporting the academic pursuits of students at the campus, the Educational Services Committee and Executive Committee of the Silliman University Student Government (SUSG) are pleased to announce the opening of the SUSG Scholarship Program application for the school year 2024-2025!

QUALIFICATIONS:
The scholarship is open to incoming and continuing Senior High School and Undergraduate students.

For Senior High School students and incoming Freshmen:
1. Must have a general average of at least 85%.
2. No grade below 80.
3. No disciplinary record.
4. Must NOT HAVE availed another scholarship or grants-in-aid [whether awarded by the government or by the Office of Student Services (OSS)]; an exception is the University Honor Scholarship.

For continuing college students
1. Must have a QPA of at least 2.5 or above.
2. No grade must be below 2.0.
3. No letter grade.
4. No disciplinary record.
5. Must have a minimum academic load of 15 units.
a. For graduating applicants who do not meet the required minimum units, please secure an official certificate indicating that the current unit load is the prescribed unit load of the curriculum enrolled in. The letter must be signed by one’s College Dean or Department Head.
6. Must NOT HAVE availed of another scholarship or grants-in-aid.

REQUIREMENTS:
The following requirements must be met should the student be interested in the scholarship:

1. The applicant must provide their duly accomplished application form attached with a 2×2 photo (formal, white background).
2. The applicant must provide the parents’/guardian’s Income Tax Return (ITR) from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
a. The annual income must not exceed more than Php 500,000.00 combined from both parents/guardian(s).
b. Should the ITR be unavailable, the applicant must provide a Certificate of Indigency from their respective barangay.
3. For SHS students and Freshmen: The applicant must provide a certified true copy of Form 138.
4. For continuing college students: The applicant must provide a certificate of grades. a. The grades must have at least a QPA of 2.5 with no letter grade, no disciplinary record, and a minimum of 15 units.
5. The applicant must provide a recommendation letter from the Dean or Principal indicating good academic standing and good moral character.
6. The applicant must provide a Medical Certificate.
a. The applicant may opt to acquire their medical certificate from any accredited medical institution that is duly noted and signed by a physician.
7. The applicant must provide a clear photocopy of their PSA Birth Certificate.
