The Silliman University (SU) Cafeteria is hiring three (3) full-time bakers for its Food and Retail Services!
SU Cafeteria is looking for experienced and talented bakers responsible for producing a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, according to their recipes and quality standards. Applicants must have a passion for baking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a baker or in a similar role, certificates in Baking and Pastry preparation are an advantage
- Strong understanding of baking techniques, methods, and ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and artistic ability for decorating baked goods
- With effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
