Since the Union’s general assembly on December 6, 2024 where a Strike Vote was conducted, the Silliman University Administration has engaged in a series of meetings and conferences with the

Silliman University Faculty Association (SUFA) from December 6, 2024 to February 7, 2025 together with the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB).

Throughout these discussions, the Administration has made revisions to its proposal furthering its commitment to uphold the welfare of its faculty while taking into account the sustainability of the University.

SUFA has maintained its position by asking the Administration to go beyond the negotiation parameters within which it is operating.
