TUP prexy eyes future collaborations with SU

Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) President Engr. Reynaldo P. Ramos, PhD, EnP, paid a courtesy visit to Silliman University (SU) President Dr. Betty Cernol McCann on November 3, 2025, at the SU President’s Office.

The meeting focused on exploring potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the fields of engineering and design, with both leaders expressing interest in fostering academic partnerships and joint initiatives that would benefit students and faculty alike.

Founded in the same year as SU in 1901, TUP is a state university known for its excellence in engineering and technology education. With its main campus in Manila and satellite campuses in Taguig, Cavite, Visayas, Batangas, and Quezon, TUP has established itself at the forefront of applied research and in supporting the development of small- and medium-scale industries in the country.
