President Aquino Appoints Alumnus to Head Clark Dev’t Corp
Incoming member of the Silliman University Board of Trustees (BOT), Atty. Felipe Antonio Remollo, has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC).
CDC is the administrative and governing body of the Clark Freeport Zone, which features a 2,500-hectare modern aviation complex designated as the country’s future premier gateway site.
The appointment of Atty. Remollo by Philippine President Benigno Aquino III came along with Malacañang’s announcement on new leadership of other government offices.
Atty. Remollo obtained from Silliman University his High School Diploma in 1977 and a degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, in 1981.
He had served as Mayor of Dumaguete City and as Trustee of Silliman University. His reelection into the Silliman BOT came after the expiration of his full term on May 31, 2008. Atty. Remollo is presently Senior Vice President at Prudential Guarantee.
