Satya Wacana Christian University Officials Visit Silliman
Four officials of Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) in Indonesia visited Silliman University on August 29.
Heading the delegation was SWCU Board of Trustees Chairperson Rev. Samuel Budy Prasetya. He was with Rev. Dominic Petrus Jarob, Advisory Board Member; Ms Martha Nandiri, Deputy Rector for Institutional Relations; and Rev. Norlina Rambu Jola Kalunga, Head of the Wira Wacana Christian Institute of Economics.

Their visit was aimed at discussing best practices in Silliman in the areas of faith integration in the curriculum, financial management, international linkages and recruitment, and the functions and roles of the Administration and the Board of Trustees, among others.
Present to welcome them were President Dr. Ben S. Malayang III, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Betsy Joy B. Tan, Vice President for Finance and Administration Prof. Cleonico Y. Fontelo, Vice President for Development Prof. Jane Annette L. Belarmino, Registrar Ms Annabelle Paa, Scholarships Coordinator Mrs. Rhodora Sagun, Silliman University Church Administrative Officer Prof. Carlos Magtolis, Jr., and Director of the Office of Information and Publications Mr. Mark Raygan Garcia.
Both Silliman and SWCU are members of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges and Asia and are partner higher education institutions of the United Board for Christian Higher Education (UBCHEA). There are currently four scholars from SWCU enrolled in different graduate programs in Silliman under UBCHEA's program for faculty development.
