2nd Graduation Ceremony for Summer Term Set

Over 60 students will march at the Silliman University Church in the afternoon of May 15 for the commencement exercises specially organized for the summer term of 2010-2011.

This is the second year for the University to hold a graduation ceremony for the summer term. It was conceptualized last year in order to afford the same experience of receiving their diplomas to those who have only completed their academic requirements in summer.

Rev. Jonathan Pia, Minister of the Parish, will be the speaker.

Some members of the Board of Trustees are attending with Chairperson Mrs. Juanita Dy-Amatong. The University Administration will be headed by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Betsy Joy B. Tan, who concurrently serves as Acting President as Dr. Ben S. Malayang III is on official leave.
