Describe yourself in three words.
Optimist.Encourager.Patriotic.
What is your mantra in life?
“Bloom where you’re planted.” I learned this from our life coach, and this has helped me see things and opportunities in a different light.
What makes you laugh/cry?
Kids make me laugh. They always manage to come up with something that cracks me up every time. I cry whenever I read stories of war and senseless killing. It is painful to see humanity at its worst.
What’s your favorite time/day of the week? Why?Favorite time would be at night, where I get my absolute peace and quiet. Favorite day/s would be the weekends –best time to recharge and do something you’re not paid to do.
What is your favorite thing to do when not working?
Reading, watching movies/TV series, spending time with friends and family.
What is your favorite hang-out place in the University?
Apart from the Elementary library, I would say the “batibot” near Hibbard Hall. Although I haven’t really been in the area for awhile, but that would definitely be number one on my list.
If you were an actor/actress, who would you be?
I have always admired Sean Connery and Morgan Freeman, two of the more classy actors with timeless legacy.
Tell us a fact about yourself.
I am not athletic but I enjoy watching sports (tennis and football to be specific). I am an avid supporter of our national sports teams because I saw the sacrifice our athletes all put in just to make this country proud. They make me proud to be a Filipino.
What’s your favorite game growing up?
I would say patintero and Monopoly.
What is your idea of a relaxing day?
A relaxing day would be time spent on top of a mountain with a great view of the ocean… and with a really good book. Or, going on a road trip!
What one thing would people be interested to know about you?
I am fond of watching movies and documentaries and reading books on the experiences of people during World War II.
What song best describes the YOU and the life you have now?
Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson or Pray by Justin Bieber. I feel that these songs embody my desire to be the change in this society and make a difference in my lifetime.
What is the first thing you do right after waking up in the morning?
Take a bath. But during weekends, I sleep longer.
What’s your idea of a family?
A family puts God in the center of everything. It is where each member empowers oneanother and pushes each other to reach their individual potential. A family reaches out to those who are in need, shares their blessings, and knows how to be grateful.
