Silliman Reinforces Parking Policy with Citation Tickets

The Office of Student Affairs issued a campus advisory informing students and personnel of a set of guidelines that will govern the issuance of citations for parking violations on campus.

This development is a reinforcement of the University's policy on parking which was implemented last school year. The same policy employed color coding in the allocation of parking slots on campus.

To be implemented this second semester of School Year 2012-2013, the guidelines put order in the parking of the increasing number of vehicles on campus and help prevent loss of and damage to property. They also seek to promote environment-friendly practices, including walking and biking, in moving around the campus.
