SU concludes livelihood project in Mabinay with NORSU, SUCC
The Silliman University (SU) Office of Community Engagement and Service-Learning (OCESL), with partners Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) and its campuses in Dumaguete and Mabinay, and the SU Multipurpose Cooperative (SUCC) Community Development Committee, concluded the Sustainable Livelihood Project of the Pantawid Pamilya of Samac Sustainable Livelihood Association (UPPS-SLPA), April 13, 2023 at the NORSU Mabinay campus.
UPPS-SLPA is a people’s organization organized by the NORSU Mabinay campus. OCESL and SUCC Community Development Committee supported the project by providing materials and equipment.
Present during the ceremonial project closing and turning over of additional support are Dr. Joel P. Limson, NORSU president; Dr. Earl Jude Paul L. Cleope, SU vice president for academic affairs; Novee E. Maestrecampo Jr., OCESL OIC director; Dr. Giovanni T. Macahig, SU Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) coordinator; and Prof. Regan Jomao-as, SUCC Community Development Committee member associate.
