The Silliman University College of Arts and Sciences – Pharmacy Department is looking for a Laboratory Chemical Technician!

Job Qualifications:

1. a Certified Chemical Technician
2. with or without work experience, willing to be trained

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversees the safe handling, dispensing, using, and disposing of laboratory chemicals
2. Coordinates with the faculty handling laboratory classes with their laboratory activities and experiments
3. Inventories and monitors the lab chemicals
4. Prepares and makes orders or purchase requests for needed laboratory supplies
5. Trains other lab personnel on the safety and proper handling, dispensing, use, and disposal of lab chemicals
6. Makes a monthly work report on the use of lab chemicals and inventory to be submitted to the lab coordinator/manager
7. Keeps records and documentation.
8. Makes SOPs and RMP and revises the documents if needed with the approval of the Lab Coordinator and Program Head
