Alumni Update January 20 – 26, 2025

Silliman alumna Coronacion Carreon Aseniero-Baylon returned to the campus on January 26, 2025, after 73 years—a visit lovingly arranged by her children.

Now 102 years old, Mrs. Baylon remains remarkably energetic and enthusiastic, eagerly walking around the university grounds and revisiting the Oriental Hall dormitory, where she lived during her college years.

A graduate of Silliman University’s Bachelor of Science in Education program in 1952, she dedicated her career to teaching and now resides in Dipolog City.
