Alumni Update March 8 – 14, 2021

Reiza S. Dejito—Sillimanian, Humanitarian worker, and mother—was featured on the Humanity & Inclusion (HI) website to mark International Women’s Day last March 8, 2021. Dejito, who works for HI and is based in Nepal, is just one of many strong women who are deeply committed to both their roles as mothers and professionals in the humanitarian sector. Reiza has worked in countries affected by humanitarian crises for the past two decades.

HI is a network composed of a federation that implements programs in around 60 countries and of eight national associations, including the United Kingdom. HI’s programs and national associations are known as “Humanity & Inclusion” or “Handicap International,” depending on the country.

Dejito graduated from Silliman University (SU) High School in 1995 and proceeded to earn a BS Physical Therapy degree in 2000, also at SU. In college, she was an active member of the Red Cross Youth and SU  Dance Troupe and was a cheerleader.
