SU Alumna Make It to Asia’s Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers for 2022

Silliman alumna, Atty. Kristin Charisse C. Siao, a Villaraza & Angangco Law Partner, has recently been recognized in Asian Legal Business’ Asia 40 Under 40 List for 2022.
Asian Legal Business (ALB) Asia’s annual 40 Under 40 list profiles the most accomplished lawyers in Asia under 40 years of age. The top 40 lawyers were selected from over 500 nominations submitted following a rigorous process based on the quality of work, recommendations from clients and colleagues, and potential for future growth.
Kristin specializes in Taxation, providing expert advice on transactional tax issues, estate and tax structuring and planning, and other tax matters. She also specializes in Corporate and Commercial Law and has actively participated in mergers and acquisition transactions spanning a wide variety of industries, such as power and energy, insurance, retail trade, telecommunications, mining, water utilities, health care, among others.
Atty. Siao is from Dumaguete City and is a true blue Sillimanian. She finished her Elementary (1995), High School (1999), and her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (2003) cum laude, from Silliman University. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2008 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2009.
