SANE Christmas gathering. Over the Christmas break the Silliman Association of New England (SANE) gathered at the lovely home of David and Joy Contado-Miller in Medford, Massachusetts. Outstanding Sillimanian Awardee Priscilla Lasmarias-Kelso and husband Rev. Bart Kelso, long time pillars of SANE, also graced the Dec. 16 Christmas gathering. The New England alumni Chapter has consistently initiated academic-related programs, such as the SANE initiative that facilitated the visit of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Development of Silliman University to various institutions of higher learning in the U.S. SANE also continues to support the University through scholarships.
The newly-elected officers of SANE are Jose Mari Jonathan “Jojo” T. Antonio, president; Stan Macasieb, vice-president; Wilnard C. Indonilla, treasurer; Nelly Viernes-Nambu, secretary; and Fred Abraham, public information officer.
