Alumni Updates (January 9 – 15, 2017)
The Silliman University Early Childhood Department was recently a recipient to a Balikbayan Box of assorted children’s books from the Quial Summit Elementary School of Diamond Bar, California. Quial Summit Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Lori Aicard facilitated the donation with the help of Silliman University College of Nursing alumna Dinah Peñaflorida and her grandchildren Meagan and Matthew.
The donated children’s books were received by SU Early Childhood Department Librarian Mrs. Glady B. Girasol. Mrs. Girasol expressed gratitude to the timely donation as the Early Childhood Department prepares for its yearly accreditation.
