Economics Graduate is Finalist in National Search for Top Student Leaders
A graduate of the College of Business Administration was among 30 finalists in the search for the Top 10 Most Outstanding Students of the Philippines awarded at the Malacañang Palace on April 23.
Genin Raya V. Amiscaray, who graduated in 2017 with degree in Economics, magna cum laude, received her award from Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, through Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque, and Mr. Jose Ma. A. Conception III, president and chief executive officer of RFM Corporation and member of the executive search committee.
Amiscaray was one of the celebrated student leaders during her college years. She was named Most Outstanding Student of the Year in her final year in the University, and was crowned Miss Silliman in 2015.
Now on its 56th year, the TOSP is an awards program seeking young role models of the country who have personified academic excellence, exemplary leadership and deep sense of social responsibility, all anchored on good moral values.
