Former PH Ambassador to Turkey Talks on Security, Diplomacy to Foreign Affairs Majors
The School of Public Affairs and Governance (SPAG) organized a lecture on “Security and Diplomacy” with retired Philippine Ambassador Marilyn J. Alarilla, on June 22 at the Justice Venancio D. Aldecoa, Jr. Moot Court.
Participants were mostly students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Foreign Affairs program.
Ambassador Alarilla headed the Philippine foreign service posts in Turkey and Azerbaijan. She is a recipient of the Gawad Mabini, an award conferred on outstanding diplomats and staff members of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Her lecture was facilitated by Ambassador MacArthur F. Corsino, an Outstanding Sillimanian who is one of the professors at SPAG.
