Junior Economics Major is Best Presenter at AmCham Leadership Program
Junior Economics major Dale Casocot was named Best Presenter during the 16th American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Business Leadership Program (AmCham BLP) held April 17 to April 25 in Manila.
Two other Sillimanians who are in their junior year also participated in AmCham BLP: Alberto de Castro (Entrepreneurship) and Jay Credo (Electrical Engineering).
Casocot, de Castro and Credo underwent a nine-day immersion program that exposed them to the intricacies of doing business in the country. They had company visits, lectures and a training in business development, and took the Test of English for International Communication. Together with 29 other delegates from around the Philippines, they also visited the United States Embassy in Manila where they interacted with American diplomats and learned more about US-Philippine relations.
AmCham BLP is part of AmCham’s advocacy driven to “inspire future generations of committed Filipino business professionals who mill make a positive difference in the country and in the world.”
