Law student to receive award on good governance

Renz Macion, a first-year student at the Silliman University (SU) College of Law who is currently the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation president of Dumaguete City and ex officio member of the City Council, has been awarded the “Outstanding Filipino Young Leader for Good Governance” by the Asia-Pacific Luminare Awards, February 5, 2021.

Macion is set to receive the award during the 4th Asia-Pacific Luminare Awards Ceremony on March 31, 2021.

Macion is an alumnus of the SU College of Mass Communication.

The Asia-Pacific Luminare Award is an international award-giving organization that aims to honor and recognize the accomplishments of individuals from the Asia-Pacific region working in different fields such as public service, governance, business, private sector, education, fashion, technology, environment, faith-based groups, charity, among others.
