Mark Your Calendars: Grand Alumni Reunion in Switzerland Set September

Registration is now open for the upcoming Silliman alumni gathering in Lucerne, Switzerland from September 13 to 16.

Dubbed EUROFLOCK, this biennial grand celebration for Europe-based alumni and friends is organized by the Silliman University Association of Alumni and Family in Europe (SUAAFE), which is composed of Sillimanians in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

A trip to Mount Pilatus and to the Titlis Glacier for a day of adventure is planned out in the morning of September 14. In the evening of the same day, participants meet up at the IBIS Hotel for the welcome and acquaintance night. A gala dinner and dance takes place the next day at the Cascada Grand Hotel Ballroom.

The first EUROFLOCK was held in Berlin, Germany in 2014. After its success, the organizers, including incumbent SUAAFE president Grace Auza Ada Genge, decided to turn it into a biennial gathering. Two years later, it was held in Dublin, Ireland.

EUROFLOCK is also supported by three other alumni chapters: SUAA-United Kingdom, SUAA Ireland-Northern Ireland and SUAA-Norway.
