Pres. McCann, other Psychology faculty members participate in PAP convention
President Betty Cernol-McCann presented her research paper titled “Person-Environment Interaction: Concepts and Appllications” at the 55th annual convention of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) held at the Philippine International Convention Center September 20-22. She also moderated the discussion after her presentation.
Themed “Fostering a Psychology of Well-being for the Filipino,” the convention focused on elucidating psychological theories, concepts, frameworks, and approaches to understanding and enhancing well-being, especially as they apply to the different sectors of Philippine society and the various stages and aspects of life of the Filipino.

Dr. Margaret Helen Udarbe-Alvarez of the SU Psychology Department is the current president of PAP. She is in her final year of her presidency, which she has held since 2015.
