Silliman signs MoU with Holy Angel University
To develop academic and educational exchange, Silliman University, and Holy Angel University (HAO) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 27.
HAO is a private, non-stock, non-profit Catholic school in Angeles City, Pampanga – one of the premier universities in Central Luzon.
Both parties agree to develop collaborative activities in academic areas of mutual interest, on the basis of equality and reciprocity at various academic levels, including:
a. Exchange if faculty, lecturers, and researchers and other research administrative staff;
b. Exchange of students;
c. Conduct of collaborative research projects;
d. Conduct of lectures and organizing of symposia:
e. Exchange of academic information and materials:
f. Promotion of other cooperative opportunities and materials:
The MoU is valid for a period of three years and may be amended or modified by written agreement.
It was signed by Silliman President Ben S. Malayang III, and HAU President Luis Maria R. Calingo.
HAO deans and administrators were also present for the benchmarking, wherein they were divided into small groups to discuss specific areas of interests with their respective counterparts from Silliman.
