Silliman to hold President’s Night Aug 26
New Silliman University (SU) president Dr. Betty Cernol-McCann will greet altruistic alumni, benefactors, donors, and partners of the institution at the President’s Night, a gala dinner to be held at historic Silliman Hall on Aug. 26.
At the Sunday evening event, the thirteenth president of the university will recognize and thank the persons, families, and organizations that have generously supported and collaborated with Silliman and championed its causes. She also will share with them development plans and projects for the university under her watch.
The President’s Night will be one of the highlights of the week-long celebration of Silliman University‘s 117th Founders Day, following the president’s investiture on Aug. 25. The dinner guests will be entertained by the Silliman Jazz Band and the Silliman University Gratitude and Goodwill Ambassadors.
