With the theme, “Creating the Right Outcomes: Universities and the Future of Work in Asia Pacific,” the summit brought together scholars and industry partners to discuss the convergence of academia and the evolving job market. It delved into the ways universities can provide students with favorable outcomes by adopting a more inventive and thoughtful approach to education.
Dr. Warlito Caturay Jr., Office of Information and Publications director and SU representative to the summit, said that it included relevant sessions on developing students’ competence, strategies on how universities can leverage on industry engagement for talent building, the emergence of artificial intelligence, among others.
