SU grad ranks 9th in LET; SU produces 96 licensed teachers
Silliman University (SU) graduate Rine Christelle G. Anfone placed ninth in the list of top-notchers for the October 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), Secondary Level. SU produced 96 licensed professional teachers who passed the October 2022 LET for the Elementary and Secondary Levels.
Anfone graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from SU in 2016 and completed the Certificate in Professional Teacher Education under the SU College of Education Teacher Education Department to be qualified to take the LET.
According to the list released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on December 17, 2022, 16 examinees from SU passed the LET Elementary Level, while 80 passed the Secondary Level.
SU garnered a 91.67% passing rate for first-time takers in the LET Elementary Level, and a 92.50% passing rate for first-time takers in the LET Secondary Level.
The Teacher Education Department of the SU College of Education is a Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Center of Excellence.
