SU honors meritorious faculty and staff

Faculty and Staff Service awardees for 2019 pose with SU administrators after the cheerful award-giving ceremony at Silliman Hall Feb. 11. Silliman University chose 24 faculty and staff members for their professional and meritorious service to the University. They received their awards from SU President Betty Cernol-McCann assisted by Dr. Earl Jude Cleope, vice president for academic affairs; Dr. Jenny Chiu, vice president for finance and administration; and Prof. Jane Annette Belarmino, Vice President for Development. Some deans, directors, and colleagues also were at hand to congratulate the awardees.

The 12 Faculty Service awardees are: Diomar C. Abrio; Alberta A. Alaban; Jesus G. Amiscaray, Jr.; Primo B. Aranas, Jr.; Hazel Joie A. Eparwa; Louie Pierre O. Equio; Connie G. Inquig; Jaychris Georgette Y. Onia; Michael A. Patron, Jr.; Jennifer Eve A. Solitana; Mitchi O. Tayco; Maria Lorena L. Tuballa. Meanwhile, the 12 Staff Service awardees are: Georgie C. Aplaon; Bernie Z. Aranas; Elizabeth M. Banlat; Marlenda R. Calingacion; Semper Lumine E. Gaturian; Frederic B. Lagos; Grace L. Lugatiman; Rosemarie D. Manso; Marly D. Quilario; Noel C. Tamayo; Georgette C. Tuting; Edgar S. Ygnalaga, Jr.
