SU produces 25 graduates of Animal Production certificate course
The Silliman University Technical Educational Vocational Entrepreneurial Center (SU TEVEC) produced 25 graduates of the Animal Production (Poultry-Chicken) NCII certificate course. The graduation rites were held December 14, 2022 at the Audio-Visual Theater 1.
Brendan Transmonte, regional manager III of the Philippine Coconut Authority, served as the graduation speaker.
Technical Education and Skills Authority (TESDA) Provincial Director Joel Villagracia attended the ceremony.
The following SU executive officers, administration members, and unit heads attended the graduation ceremony: Dr. Betty Cernol McCann, SU president; Dr. Earl Jude Paul L. Cleope, vice president for academic affairs; Prof. Jane Annette L. Belarmino, vice president for development, enterprises, and external affairs; Blanchie M. Utzurrum, TEVEC head; Rev. Jonathan R. Pia, senior pastor of the SU Church; Dr. Giovanni Macahig, University registrar; and Novee E. Maestrecampo, Office of Community Engagement and Service Learning OIC director.
The graduation ceremony was TEVEC’s 28th graduation.
The SU TEVEC is a TESDA-accredited assessment center for Animal Production (Poultry-Chicken) NC II, Animal Production (Swine) NCII, and Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II.
Formerly known as the School of Agro-Industrial and Technical Education (SAITE), TEVEC coordinates with TESDA in administering TESDA certificate courses, which offer specialized training and education to facilitate better livelihood or employment opportunities for its graduates.
