SU produces 3 top-notchers, ranks 1st in NLE with 100% passing rate
Silliman University (SU) produced three top-notchers who ranked 5th, 9th, and 10th, and was ranked 1st in the list of top schools for the November 2022 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) with a 100% passing rate.
Angela Claire N. Kitane, Von Joseph V. Serna, and Amari Joy O. Samson ranked 5th, 9th, and 10th, respectively, in the NLE.
With its 100% passing rate, SU ranked 1st in the list of Top-Performing Schools along with 18 other universities.
SU produced 126 new registered nurses who were all first-time takers of the said exam.
This is the seventh consecutive year wherein SU garnered a 100% passing rate in the NLE. SU garnered a 100% passing rate in the May 2014, November 2015, May 2015, June 2016, November 2016, November 2017, June 2018, November 2018, June 2019, July 2021, and November 2021 NLE.
SU had five top-notchers in 2021 alone, namely Renzo John Phillip O. Cabagay and Kathryn Isabel R. Sotto, who placed 5th and 9th in the July 2021 NLE; and Kiarra Belle A. Poblador, Esther Faith M. Padilla, and Nicole Allyson Fry, who ranked 1st, 4th, and 8th in the November 2021 NLE.
SU is a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education as designated by the Commission on Higher Education.
