SU ranks 14th in AD Scientific Index’s PH Rankings for 2022

Silliman University (SU) ranked 14th in the Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index’s Top Universities in the Philippines 2022 list, which is based on the productivity and citation impact of publications made by a university’s scientists and researchers.

The AD Scientific Index ranks individual scientists and researchers based on their total H-index, i10-index, and citation scores in Google Scholar over the last five years.

Within SU, they ranked Dr. Rene Abesamis with the highest citation score among the 18 SU scientists recognized in the AD Scientific Index. 

Abesamis’ study with Prof. Garry Russ of James Cook University on “Density‐dependent spillover from a marine reserve: long‐term evidence” is listed on the AD Scientific Index as his most cited study.

Aside from Abesamis, the AD Scientific Index also listed the following academics as SU’s most cited scientists with their most cited study, based on Google Scholar data:

The AD Scientific Index also has worldwide rankings of universities and individual scientists aside from ranking them by country and subject area. 

The AD Scientific Index is a ranking system developed by two Turkish scientists who are also medical doctors: Prof. Dr. Murat Alper of the University of Health Sciences, Istanbul, and Prof. Dr. Cihan Doger of Ankara City Hospital.
