SU Strat Partnerships director attends int’l meeting for research actions
Dr. Jenny Lind Elmaco, Silliman University Strategic Partnerships director and National Contact Point of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) research fellowship program, recently attended the 12th meeting of the National Contact Points for MSCA at the European Commission headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
Elmaco also underwent a specialized training sponsored by the Research Executive Agency of the European Commission.
Elmaco said the trip and training was financed under the Net4mobility project funded by the European Union (EU).
As the appointed National Contact Point of Horizon 2020, EU’s funding mechanism for research, and the succeeding Horizon Europe, Elmaco provides professional support services to potential applicants as well as promote Horizon 2020 and other similar academic opportunities in Europe.
Aside from being the National Contact Point of MSCA, she is also the chairperson of the Marie Curie Alumni Association in Southeast Asia as a Marie Curie Fellowship alumna. She is also an alumna of EU’s Erasmus Mundus scholarship program.
