SU student wins gold, bronze in Palarong Pambansa 2023

Kacie Gabrielle M. Tionko, a grade 10 student of the Silliman University (SU) Junior High School, won gold in the 100-meter freestyle and bronze in the 200-meter freestyle swimming events of the Palarong Pambansa 2023.

Tionko represented Region VII or the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) in Palarong Pambansa, held from July 30 to August 5 in Marikina City.

She was the lone medalist from Region VII in the swimming competition for secondary girls.
