Top 10 Student Orgs Named
The Committee on Student Organizations of the Silliman University Student Government has released the list of Top 10 Organizations for School Year 2017-2018.
Student organizations earn points based on the number, quality and coverage of their projects and community involvement. At the end of the school year, points are tallied, and the list of top organizations is endorsed to the Student Organizations and Activities Division of the Office of Student Services for its confirmation.
This year’s Top 10 Organizations are:
- Silliman University Medical Students’ Association
- United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary
- Psychology Society
- Silliman University Nutrition and Dietetics Society
- Herodotus Society
- Silliman University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants
- And Sandigan
- Silliman University Junior Business Executives
- Beta Epsilon
- MBA Society
Silliman has more than a hundred registered student organizations clustered according to the nature of its composition and activities: academic, faith-based, interest-based, regional/geographical affiliation, and fraternities/sonorities, among others.
The Top 10 Organizations will be formally awarded during the Founders Day celebration in August. As part of their award, they can choose their location in the booth area during the Founders Day.
