SU-ROTC is Region's Overall Champion

The Silliman University Reserved Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit was hailed overall champion for Region 7 in the Regional Annual Administrative Performance Evaluation (RAAPE). 

Silliman garnered a total rating of 98.77. 

This year's Best ROTC Commandant went SU-ROTC's Lt. Col. Leandro M. Ayop (INF) PA. 

Corresponding awards were also given to Silliman for its top performance in the following categories: Best in Operations Order (OPORD) Writing, Best in Admin Aspects, Best in Method of Instructions, Best in Map Reading, Best in Theoretical Examination and lastly, the Fastest in Assembly/Disassembly of Caliber 5.56mm M16A1.

ROTC is one of three components of the National Service Training Program implemented in the University. The other two are the Civic Welfare Training Service and the Literacy Training Service.
