Chief Justice Gesmundo to speak in 1st SU Law alumni grand homecoming

Hon. Alexander G. Gesmundo, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, will speak as the guest of honor during the first grand alumni homecoming and general assembly of the SU Law Alumni Association, Inc. on August 26, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium.

With the theme, “Behold, Under God’s Light – The Future of the Bench and Bar Unfolds,” the event will include the oath-taking of lawyers under the New Lawyer’s Oath to be administered by Gesmundo and a recognition of the new lawyers from SU College of Law.

Gesmundo was appointed to the Supreme Court as Associate Justice on August 14, 2017, and later as the 27th Chief Justice of the Philippines on April 5, 2021.
