Alumni Update August 1 – 7, 2022

Two of Silliman University’s 2018 Senior High School alumni, Leanna D. Bautista and Kris Jypson T. Esturas, recently graduated summa cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman, respectively.

Leanna D. Bautista

Leanna D. Bautista earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Santo Tomas, last June 7, 2022. She was a Top Graduate for Chemical Engineering, UST Engineering Class Salutatorian, and a St. Dominic de Guzman Award for Outstanding Teamwork – Engineering Student Council.

Kris Jypson T. Esturas

While Kris Jypson T. Esturas, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, summa cum laude, from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, last July 31, 2022. Kris Jypson was also an Academic Excellence Awardee, Most Outstanding Bachelor of Science in Biology Graduate, and a DOST-SEI Junior Level Science Scholar (Merit Scholarship).

Both Leanna and Kris Jypson graduated from Silliman University Senior High School with Highest Honors (STEAM Track) in 2018 and are children of Silliman University faculty.
