Dr. Betty Cernol McCann and Asuncion “Shony” Millan
Silliman University (SU) alumna Asuncion “Shony” Millan, representing the SU Association of Alumni and Family in Europe (SUAAFE-GABS), made a courtesy visit to SU president, Dr. Betty Cernol McCann last August 31, 2023.
Shony personally invited McCann and SU Alumni and External Affairs Director Ruben N. Bokingo to the Euroflock 2024, scheduled next year in Valleta, Malta, October 3 – 6, 2024.
Euroflock is a biennial convergence of Europe-based alumni and friends of Silliman. SUAAFE-GABS, which is composed of alumni based in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, is the lead host for Euroflock 2024. SUAAFE-GABS will be marking its 10th year as an alumni chapter.
The Euroflock Theme, “A Decade of Spiritual Reciprocity, Relational Uptrend, Charitable Services, Commitment to Alma Mater & Community,” hopes to remind alumni attendees to be grateful for the opportunities of work and of service for others. The alumni gathering also allows attendees to reconnect and network with fellow alumni and reminisce about their Silliman experience.
The venue for Euroflock 2024 is the Waterfront Hotel Sliena, Valleta, Malta. Registration Fee is at €110 Euro, which includes the gala dinner. Registration deadline is on July 30, 2024.
